Would a "3rd Bush Term" have been this bad?

If George W. Bush had been the first President to need a teleprompter installed to be able to get through a press conference, would you have laughed and said this is more proof of how he inept he is on his own and is really controlled by smarter men behind the scenes?

If George W. Bush had spent hundreds of thousands of dollars to take Laura Bush to a play in NYC, would you have approved?

If George W. Bush had reduced your retirement plan's holdings of GM stock by 90% and given the unions a majority stake in GM, would you have approved?

If George W. Bush had made a joke at the expense of the Special Olympics, would you have approved?

If George W. Bush had given Gordon Brown a set of inexpensive and incorrectly formatted DVDs, when Gordon Brown had given him a thoughtful and historically significant gift, would you have
approved?

If George W. Bush had given the Queen of England an iPod containing videos of his speeches, would you have thought this embarrassingly narcissistic and tacky?

If George W. Bush had bowed to the King of Saudi Arabia, would you have approved?

If George W. Bush had visited Austria and made reference to the non-existent "Austrian language," would you have brushed it off as a minor slip?

If George W. Bush had filled his cabinet and circle of advisers with people who cannot seem to keep current in their income taxes, would you have approved?

If George W. Bush had been so Spanish illiterate as to refer to “Cinco de Cuatro" in front of the Mexican ambassador when it was the 5th of May (Cinco de Mayo), and continued to flub it when he tried again, would you have winced in embarrassment?

If George W. Bush had mis-spelled the word "advice" would you have hammered him for it for years like Dan Quayle and potatoe as proof of what a dunce he is?

If George W. Bush had burned 9,000 gallons of jet fuel to go plant a single tree on Earth Day, would you have concluded he's a hypocrite?

If George W. Bush's administration had okayed Air Force One flying low over millions of people followed by a jet fighter in downtown Manhattan causing widespread panic, would you have wondered whether they actually get what happened on 9-11?

If George W. Bush had failed to send relief aid to flood victims throughout the Midwest with more people killed or made homeless than in New Orleans, would you want it made into a major ongoing political issue with claims of racism and incompetence?

If George W. Bush had ordered the firing of the CEO of a major corporation, even though he had no constitutional authority to do so, would you have approved?

If George W Bush had proposed to double the national debt, which had taken more than two centuries to accumulate, in one year, would you have approved?

If George W. Bush had then proposed to double the debt again within 10 years, would you have approved?

So, tell me again, what is it about Obama that makes him so brilliant and impressive?

Can't think of anything? Don't worry. He's done all this in 5 months -- so you'll have three years and seven months to come up with an answer.

SPECIAL THANK YOU to Sens. David Vitter and Jim DeMint

On this, my 100th post, I would like to send out a special thank you to Sen. David Vitter, R-La., and Sen. Jim DeMint, R-S.C., for voting against Bilary's confirmation as Sec State.

Sen. DeMint, PLEASE continue to voice concerns about foreign donations to Bill Clinton's foundation. And thank you for expressing your concerns about the Clintons' pro-abortion beliefs and please act as a watch dog over their (the Clintons') plans of foreign assistance dollars to fund abortion.

Pay for Play it's the Democrat Party way

Obama's Change = corruption is now being institutionalized?????

First we had Blago running around looking for all of these small fry donations from the likes of Jesse Jackson Jr. The Bum should have just put it up for bid on ebay ... or for sale on Craig's List.

Richardson's withdrawal is being call the first disruption (of many) of Obama's Cabinet process and the second (of many to come) "pay-to-play" investigation that has touched Obama's transition to the presidency (so far). The president-elect has (so far) remained above the fray in both the case of arrested Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich and with the grand jury is looking into possible "pay-to-play" dealings between CDR Financial Products and New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson. President-elect Barack Obama's commerce secretary on announced that he was withdrawing his nomination amid a grand jury investigation into how some of his political donors won a lucrative state contract (reminds me of how the Clintons do things).

(Speaking of the Clintons.)

The Clinton team has finally released some of the donors and the amounts for the Clinton Library, cigar bar and Massage Parlor, and there over 205,000 donors on their website. The Clintons have ended ten years of resistance to identifying the sources of its money. Saudi Arabia is among the biggest donors to the Clinton Foundation. Blago has been called a piker for peddling influence. The Clinton's make him and Richardson look like a couple of street corner panhandling bums. The Clinton's have obviously been looking to peddle influence, they have gotten tens of millions of dollars from international players. And the the Messiah has named Billary Secretary of State so that the back scratching can continue. Whey else would She be so willing to take a pay cut from Senator to secretary of state????

She's going to go over to sec state, and she's going to be able to continue to scratch the backs of people who have donated to the Clintons' Foundation.

One would have hoped that the Clinton quid pro quo market would have fell apart when Obama won. But by the fool putting Hillary back in as secretary of state the Clintons are once again a good good stock option.

And I can see little ol' Blago in Illinois scratching his head saying, "How the frick did this happen to me? I'm a small fry compared to these guys. The Clintons are are loved and celebrated by the left who thinks they're the greatest politicians come down the pike. Everybody thinks I'm a thief?!"

The Clintons will make tens of millions of dollars from their foundation personally during Hillary's tenure as secretary of state. The money machine just got greased up again.

Speaking of greased up money machines. Caroline (Kennedy) Schlossberg will shore up the financial picture of her family. There's a lot of Kennedys dipping into the Kennedy fortune these days, a lot of Kennedys that don't work. So you need to do something here to make the Kennedys again something to invest in. Blago, if he would just get out of the way in Illinois, the crooks can get back to doing business the way they're used to doing it, and Biden will get his son in as his replacement as a Senator in Delaware, and the beat goes on. So it's politics as usual, it's members of the political class, the Washingtonians getting rich trading on their public service. Most of the people doing this are big-time liberal Democrats. Nobody smells anything odd about it, nobody says a peep about it except when Blago comes along and clumsily exposes how the whole Democrat party operates.

We now know, and we've known for a long time, why they want to get rid of Blago. Blago is an embarrassment. Democrats don't turn on Democrats unless they threaten to expose the whole game, and Blago, in his ineptitude here, you know, $600 grand, $500 grand, sell a Senate seat, working with Jesse Jackson, this is embarrassing, this is chump change to what the Clintons and the Kennedys have going on, and Blago has to go. So as soon as he gets out of the way, as soon as they figure out a way, whatever his price is, they're going to have to meet it 'cause he's in it for that, and then we can get back to the normal culture of corruption that goes on beneath the surface that nobody sees and everybody apparently seems to love because it's Democrats who care about people, who are engaging in it.

One thing, this isn't hope and or change. What this is is bolstering a culture of corruption and an insiders game that has nothing to do with putting the taxpayers of our country first.

NOBAMA! NOBAMA! NOBAMA! NOBAMA!

Barack Obama doesn't belong anywhere NEAR the white house!

That being said, I personally am not a democrat. HOWEVER, after watching Hillary's speech at the DNC, if i were a democrat, i would be angry as hell that Hillary was not the democratic nominee. Hillary supporters have every right to be pissed off. She made a speech that was a million times more presidential than anything that substance-less fraud Obama could ever give, even on his best day.

Its time for everyone to stand up and let everyone know that you do not AND NEVER WILL support Barack Obama for president.

The next couple of months are going to be intense! Let everyone know exactly where you stand!

Why Conservatives Are Happier Than Liberals

Individuals with conservative ideologies are happier than liberal-leaners, and new research pinpoints the reason: Conservatives rationalize social and economic inequalities.

Regardless of marital status, income or church attendance, right-wing individuals reported greater life satisfaction and well-being than left-wingers, the new study found.Conservatives also scored highest on measures of rationalization, which gauge a person's tendency to justify, or explain away, inequalities.

The rationalization measure included statements such as: "It is not really that big a problem if some people have more of a chance in life than others," and "This country would be better off if we worried less about how equal people are."

To justify economic inequalities, a person could support the idea of meritocracy, in which people supposedly move up their economic status in society based on hard work and good performance.

In that way, one's social class attainment, whether upper, middle or lower, would be perceived as totally fair and justified.

If your beliefs don't justify gaps in status, you could be left frustrated and disheartened, according to the researchers, Jaime Napier and John Jost of New York University. They conducted both a U.S.-centric survey and a more internationally focused one to arrive at the findings.

"Our research suggests that inequality takes a greater psychological toll on liberals than on conservatives," the researchers write in the June issue of the journal Psychological Science, "apparently because liberals lack ideological rationalizations that would help them frame inequality in a positive (or at least neutral) light."

The results support and further explain a Pew Research Center survey from 2006, in which 47 percent of conservative Republicans in the U.S. described themselves as "very happy," while only 28 percent of liberal Democrats indicated such cheer.

The same rationalizing phenomena could apply to personal situations as well.

"There is no reason to think that the effects we have identified here are unique to economic forms of inequality," the researchers write. "Research suggests that highly egalitarian women are less happy in their marriages compared with their more traditional counterparts, apparently because they are more troubled by disparities in domestic labor."

The current study was funded by the National Science Foundation.

More Taxes!?! Friggin' DEMOCRATS!!!!

Taxes...Whether Democrat or a Republican you will find these statistics enlightening and amazing.

www.taxfoundation.org/publications/show/151.html

Taxes under Clinton 1999..............................Taxes under Bush 2008
Single making 30K - tax $8,400...................Single making 30K - tax $4,500
Single making 50K - tax $14,000.................Single making 50K - tax $12,500
Single making 75K - tax $23,250 .................Single making 75K - tax $18,750
Married making 60K - tax $16,800 .............Married making 60K- tax $9,000
Married making 75K - tax $21,000 ..............Married making 75K - tax $18,750
Married making 125K - tax $38,750 .............Married making 125K - tax $31,250

Both democratic candidates want return to the higher tax rates

It is amazing how many people that fall into the categories above think Bush is screwing them and Bill Clinton was the greatest President ever. If Obama or Hillary are elected, they both say they will repeal the Bush tax cuts and raise taxes even higher. A good portion of the people that fall into the categories above can't wait for it to happen.

This is like the movie The Sting with Paul Newman; you scam somebody out of some money and they don't even know what happened.

Hillary's criminal actions and lies

Over last 40 years Hillary has been implicated in many different criminal actions. A recent example is the illegal handling of 1.6 million dollars that was donated by Peter F Paul in Hillary’s 2000 Senatorial Campaign.

Cattle Futures & Conflicts of Interest
In 1979, Hillary Clinton’s trades in cattle futures contracts generated criticism regarding conflict of interest and allegations of disguised bribery. Her initial $1,000 investment generated $100,000 when she stopped trading ten months later. Furthermore, in his book Devil Take The Hindmost : A History Of Financial Speculation, Edward Chancellor noted that Clinton made her money by betting “on the short side at a time when cattle prices doubled.” Marshall Magazine, a publication of the Marshall School of Business, found that “Two-thirds of her trades showed a profit by the end of the day she made them and 80 percent were ultimately profitable.” According to the Washington Post, “[w]hile Clinton’s account was wildly successful to an outsider, it was small compared to what others were making in the cattle futures market in the 1978-79 period.” However, the Post’s comparison was of absolute profits, not necessarily percentage rate of return.

Chicago Mercantile Exchange records indicated that $40,000 of her profits came from larger trades initiated by Clinton’s lawyer and friend, James Blair, an experienced futures trader and outside counsel to Tyson Foods. According to exchange records, Robert L. “Red” Bone, the commodities broker that facilitated the trades on behalf of Ray E. Friedman and Co. (Refco), reportedly because Blair was a good client, allowed Clinton to maintain her positions even though she did not have enough money in her account to cover her activity. For example, she was allowed to order 10 cattle futures contracts, normally a $12,000 investment, in her first commodity trade in 1978 although she had only $1,000 in her account at the time. Refco was fined for violating Chicago Mercantile Exchange rules governing margin trading. Leo Melamed, a former chairman of the Mercantile Exchange who reviewed the records for the White House, said in an interview that Clinton violated no rules in the course of her transactions.

WhiteWater
The Whitewater controversy was a series of events and actions that had its origins in 1978. While in Arkansas, the Clintons were partners with Jim and Susan McDougal in a real estate venture known as the Whitewater Development Corporation. According to reports, the Clintons lost their financial investment in the Whitewater business projects. At the time the McDougals operated a savings and loan that retained Hillary Clinton’s legal services at Rose Law Firm. When the McDougals’ savings and loan failed in 1994, federal investigators subpoenaed Clinton’s legal billing records for auditing purposes. Hillary Clinton claimed to be unable to produce these records. After an extensive, two-year search, the records were found in the first lady’s book room in the White House and delivered to investigators in 1996. The delayed appearance of the billing records sparked intense interest and another investigation about how they surfaced and where they had been; Clinton attributed the problem to disorganization that resulted from her move from the Arkansas Governor’s Mansion to the White House. After the discovery of the ‘lost’ records, on January 26, 1996, Clinton made history by becoming the first First Lady to testify before a grand jury.

The Whitewater investigation was initiated by Independent Counsel Robert Fiske appointed by Attorney General Janet Reno. The case was later taken over by Independent Counsel Kenneth Starr, and concluded by Independent Counsel Robert Ray. Several other allegations were also investigated under the Whitewater umbrella. The investigations, which took place during Bill Clinton’s presidency and cost an estimated $40 million, resulted in the McDougals being jailed and Webster Hubbell pleading guilty to felony charges of lying to federal investigators about Clinton’s role in both Whitewater and the savings and loan failure. No criminal charges were brought against the Clintons themselves, as Robert Ray’s final report on September 20, 2000 stated that there was ‘insufficient evidence’ that either of them had engaged in criminal wrongdoing.

Travel office firings
On May 19, 1993, several long-time employees of the White House Travel Office were fired for alleged incompetence or illegal activities. Accusations were made that Hillary Clintonwas involved in the firings and that they were unjustified and were done in order to give the business to friends of the Clintons; she denied any role in the firings. Supporters claimed that the employees in question were officially political appointees (although they had served under Presidents of both parties) who served “at the President’s pleasure” and could be fired or reassigned at any time. The affair became known as “Travelgate”. On June 23, 2000, Whitewater Independent Counsel Robert Ray stated in a final report that while there was substantial evidence that she was involved in the firings, it could not be proved that she had deliberately lied about the matter, and so no charges would be brought.

Vince Foster
On July 20, 1993, White House Deputy Counsel Vince Foster died by suicide. The general Whitewaterinvestigation included an examination of Foster’s death and the circumstances around it. Whitewater Independent Counsel Kenneth Starr‘s investigation, as well as investigations by the Department of Justice, the FBI, and the U.S. Park Police, all concluded that Foster’s death was indeed a suicide.

In 1996 Hillary Clinton was accused by the Senate Special Whitewater Committee of ordering the removal of potentially damaging files (related to Whitewater or other matters) from Foster’s office on the night of his death.

Other critics of the Clintons have made more lurid allegations: that Foster’s death was not a suicide, that it was connected to Whitewater, and that Hillary Clinton was somehow involved by covering up activities together with Foster before his death or in that her relationship with Foster was an intimate one. Other conspiracy theories claimed that she had killed Foster herself or had him killed.

Origin of the name Hillary
During an April 1995 visit to Tibet, Hillary Clinton met New Zealand’s Sir Edmund Hillary, co-first-climber of Mount Everest. Clinton remarked that her mother, Dorothy Emma Howell Rodham, had told her that she was named after the famous climber. “It had two L’s, which is how she thought she was supposed to spell Hillary,” Clinton said at the Tibet meeting. “So when I was born, she called me Hillary, and she always told me it’s because of Sir Edmund Hillary.”

However, the Everest climb did not take place until 1953, more than five years after Clinton was born. Clinton opponents have used the discrepancy as evidence towards the charge that she is prone to fabrications. (LOOK OUT! SNIPERS!) Clinton said that her mother read about beekeeper-turned-mountaineer Edmund Hillary in a publication while pregnant in 1947 and liked the name and thus used the two L’s form. Some searches of prominent U.S. publications show no publicity given to Edmund Hillary before the Everest climb, so it is unlikely that Dorothy Rodham (who has not publicly spoken about the issue) would have heard of him. Furthermore, Hillary with two L’s was not that unusual a spelling at the time. Snopes.com concluded that Hillary Clinton probably made up the naming story as “a little white lie concocted for a special occasion.”

Finally, in October 2006, a spokeswoman for Senator Clinton’s re-election campaign explained that she was not in fact named after the mountain climber, stating rather that “It was a sweet family story her mother shared to inspire greatness in her daughter, to great results I might add.”

Filegate
In June 1996, White House security head Craig Livingstone improperly asked for and received several hundred FBI background files, including ones on White House personnel from former Republican administrations. It was claimed that Hillary Clinton had requested these files and that she had recommended hiring the supposedly unqualified Livingstone; she denied these charges. The affair became known as ”Filegate”.

And on and on and on ...

PORK SPENDING SCORECARD

PORK SPENDING SCORECARD

We have a bit of bipartisan action taking place this week on the floor of the U.S. Senate. A Republican and a Democrat Senator: DeMint of South Carolina and McCaskill of Missouri, are going to offer an amendment to a bill that would require a two-thirds vote of the senate for any pork (or earmark, as they like to call it) spending to be approved.

McCain has vowed to be there to cast his vote for it. But Hillary and Obama have made no such vow. McCain is taking time off from his campaign to go to Washington just so he can vote on this amendment to end earmark spending.

In the meantime .. let's take a peek at the presidential candidate earmark records for the 2008 budget:

Hillary Clinton: 212 earmarks totaling $266 million.

Barack Obama: 53 earmarks totaling $126 million

John McCain: 0 earmarks totaling $0.0 million.

Hmmmm ... I wonder who is the better choice for getting the budget under control?

Spitzer, Hillary and Obama ... 3 peas in a pod.

Why am I surprised that Disgraced New York Gov. Spitzer being Under Pressure to Resign for being the latest Dim to be caught up in a sex scandal? It is common place for Dims to cheat on their wives and to steal money. ( NY Gov. Spitzer Snagged by IRS Probe Into Money Laundering)

Typical Dims being Dims.

(Please note in 2007 Sen Obama voted in line with the Democrat party 100% of the time making him the most liberal Senator in office last year. Yet the Dims' dancing monkey claims to be about change. While in the State assembly in Illinios he had a chance to make changes but instead of making waves he simply voted present on almost every heated issue that came to a vote. I think I have pointed out time and again what the Dims are all about. Fool the masses. Promise bennies for the poor. Expand Gov't. And all the time line your own pockets. Obama is no different than Hillary or Spitzer.)

Is Obama too black or too white?

For months we have heard Dims and fools like Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson say Barack Obama's real problem isn't that he's too black — it's that he's too white.

So, why did the new Hillary Clinton ad cause an Internet stir Today among nut jobs who claim it deliberately darkens Barack Obama’s skin color?

The buzz began earlier the day, when the liberal Web site DailyKos.com showed side-by-side screen grabs of Barack Obama taken during a debate with Clinton in Cleveland last week. The screen grab used in the ad showed a clearly darker-skinned Obama, prompting some to wonder if it was done to highlight his race.

Whatever the case, one posting on the DailyKos site charged that while darkening footage may be considered standard practice for political ads trying to “cast the target as sinister,” it is “not an acceptable excuse.”

OK Girls and boys, it's History lesson time. After O.J. Simpson was arrested (in 1994 for murder not 2007 for Robbery), multiple publications carried his image. Notably, TIME magazine published an edition featuring an altered mugshot, darkening his skin and reducing the size of the prisoner ID number. This appeared on newsstands right next to an unaltered picture by Newsweek. Outcry from minority rights groups followed. Illustrator Matt Mahurin of TIME was the one to alter the image, saying later that he "wanted to make it more artful, more compelling."
Then as now the one thing the media missed is that their own assertion that dark is more sinister is in and of itself racist.

Do not throw mud if it's shaped like a boomerang.

Is anyone else amazed at how Camp Obama has let Team Clinton introduce "Rezko" into the political lexicon?

The issue is legit - (don't get me wrong, Obama is a huge scum bag too)- but what's amazing is to watch the Clintons making insinuations about shady land deals and questionable characters.

The Clintons!

Am I the only American left who remembers the campaign finance scandals of the 1990s?

Marc Rich?

Johnny Chung?

Didn't the Clinton campaign recently have to return close to a million dollars tied to Norman Hsu?

And I can't be certain but I'm fairly sure I remember reading something about someone being impeached?

Man, they must be giggling at HRC HQ.

Do they not have Google in Chicago?

NBC Finds Picture of Hillary Clinton And "Slum Lord" Renzo

I have a real concern how reporters allow her to not answer direct questions. When given a tough question, Hillary always changes the subject and tells the reporter what they need to focus on. No Hillary, we want to focus on you answering the damn question you were given! Someone needs to make her answer questions or she will continue to feed us friggin BS.

All she does is lie over and over again. That's all she can do because she has no real accomplishments. Back when Obama was working in community service, Hillary was a corporate stooge for Wal-mart looking out for corporation's best interests. She thinks if she repeats the lies over and over again, people will eventually start believing them. And sadly, some people have.Hillary's "Experience" LieClinton: "I am uniquely qualified at this moment in our history to be the president we need starting in 2009 … I think it is informed by my deep experience over the last 35 years, my firsthand knowledge of what goes on inside a White House." Thirty-five years takes you back to 1973, half of which Hillary spent in law school. Clinton: "Experience in foreign affairs is critical for ending the war in Iraq, averting war in Iran, negotiating a Middle East peace and dealing with North Korea." During her husband's two terms in office, Hillary Clinton did not hold a security clearance, did not attend meetings of the National Security Council, and was not given a copy of the president's daily intelligence briefing. During trips to Bosnia and Kosovo, she "acted as a spokeswoman for American interests rather than as a negotiator." On military affairs, most of her experience derives not from her White House years but from serving on the Senate armed services committee.

Clinton lies about Obama's record"He was a part-time state senator for a few years, and then he came to the Senate and immediately started running for president," she says dismissively. But Obama's accomplishments are more substantial and varied than Clinton suggests. And he has a longer record in elected office than she does, as a second-term New York senator. Obama served eight years in the Illinois state Senate and is halfway through his first term in the U.S. Senate. Clinton is about to begin her eighth year in the U.S. Senate. Going by years spent as an elective official, Obama's 11 years exceeds Clinton's seven.

Clinton Lies About Obama Abortion Record"Hillary Rodham Clinton criticizes rival Barack Obama's record on abortion rights in a mailing sent to New Hampshire voters. The mailer says that seven times during his time in the Illinois state Senate, Obama declined to take a position on abortion bills, while Clinton has been a defender of abortion rights. During his eight years in the legislature, Obama cast a number of votes on abortion and received a 100 percent rating from the Illinois Planned Parenthood Council for his support of abortion rights, family planning services and health insurance coverage for female contraceptives. He voted against requiring medical care for aborted fetuses who survive, a vote that especially riled abortion opponents.

Hillary falsely claims that her mother had actually named her after the famous and intrepid explorer, Sir Edmund Hillary, conqueror of Mount EverestOn a first-lady goodwill tour of Asia in April 1995—the kind of banal trip that she now claims as part of her foreign-policy "experience"—Mrs. Clinton had been in Nepal and been briefly introduced to the late Sir Edmund Hillary, conqueror of Mount Everest. Ever ready to milk the moment, she announced that her mother had actually named her for this famous and intrepid explorer. Sen. Clinton was born in 1947, and Sir Edmund Hillary and his partner Tenzing Norgay did not ascend Mount Everest until 1953, so the story was self-evidently untrue and eventually yielded to fact-checking.

Obama Ranked Most Liberal Senator in 2007, Clinton Ranked 16th

Barack Obama ranked as the most liberal senator of 2007, according to newly released National Journal ratings.

National Journal has tabulated the rankings of U.S. senators and representatives based on their votes for the last 27 years, and found that in 2007 both Obama and his rival for the Democratic presidential nomination Hillary Clinton shifted to the left in the run-up to the primaries.
Obama went from being the 10th-most-liberal senator in 2006 to the front of the line, while Clinton went from being the 32nd-most-liberal senator to the 16th-most-liberal last year.
Despite the bitterness pervading the campaign between Clinton and Obama, National Journal pointed out the two have very similar voting records. The year-in-review showed the two differed on just 10 of the 267 measure they both voted on.

The article said the two candidates were like “fraternal policy twins,” demonstrating only slight differences.

National Journal wrote that the two senators supported most measures to withdraw troops from Iraq and comprehensive immigration reform, and that they voted similarly when it came to health care, education, energy and other issues.

In response, Obama spokesman Bill Burton dismissed the use of labels like conservative and liberal. “Only in Washington can you get falsely attacked for being like Reagan one week and labeled the most liberal the next,” he said. (PLEASE NOTE HE DID NOT SAY FALSELY LABELED THE MOST LIBERAL, ONLY FALSELY ATTACKED FOR BEING LIKE REAGAN. GOD I MISS REAGAN)

In Hillary Clinton's Own Words

http://www.nohillaryclinton.com/info/movies/quotes

Don't vote for this self-serving currupt bitch.

Hillary Qualified to be president because she was married to Bill?

I talked to a Democrat today. (and yes I had to dumb down what we talked about so she would understand.) She seemed to think just because Hillary was married to Bill she would make a good President. That would be about the same as saying leadership is a venereal disease.

Assuming she is correct and sleeping with Bill Clinton makes you a good leader then the following known (and rumored) sex partners of Bill Clinton need to be voted in to the Senate.

Juanita Broaddrick (AR) (rape)
Eileen Wellstone (Oxford)(rape)
Elizabeth Ward Gracen (rape)
Regina Hopper Blakely (forced himself on her, biting, bruising her)
Kathleen Willey (WH) (sexual assault)
Sandra Allen James (DC) (sexual assault)
22 Year Old 1972 (Yale) (sexual assault)
Kathy Bradshaw (AK) (sexual assault)
Cristy Zercher (unwelcomed sexual advance) Paula Jones (AR) (unwelcomed sexual advance, exposure, bordering on sexual assault)
Carolyn Moffet -(nwelcomed sexual advance, exposure, bordering on sexual assault)
Unnamed 1974 student at University of Arkansas (unwelcomed physical contact)
Unnamed Bodyguards 1978-1980 (seven complaints per Arkansas state troopers)

Democratic Fundraiser Norman Hsu Indicted on Federal Fraud Charges

A federal grand jury on Tuesday (12/03/07) indicted Norman Hsu, a top Democratic fundraiser accused of cheating investors of at least $20 million and using some of the money to make illegal donations to political candidates including Hillary Rodham Clinton.

(I wonder how long it is going to be before this guy dies from Arkansas Sudden Death Syndrome)

In the 15-count indictment returned in U.S. District Court in Manhattan, the government accused the 56-year-old clothing-industry entrepreneur of duping investors nationwide with a massive Ponzi scheme.

The government said Hsu also violated federal campaign finance laws by making contributions to various political candidates in the names of others.

Why I will not Vote for Hillary Clinton

In 1965, Clinton enrolled in Wellesley College, where she majored in political science. She wrote her senior thesis about the tactics of radical community organizer and author of Rules for Radicals Saul Alinsky. Years later while she was first lady, her thesis was suppressed at the request of the White House and became the subject of speculation as to its contents. Saul Alinky Alinsky was a critic of a passive and ineffective mainstream liberalism. In Rules for Radicals, he argued that the most effective means are whatever will achieve the desired ends. Basically, the end justifies the means even if the means were not legal. He also urged liberals to work within the system to make the masses feel "so frustrated, so defeated, so lost, so futureless in the prevailing system that they are willing to let go of the past and chance the future". (The fact that this was one of her early heros should frighten everyone in this country.)

After Law school she failed the District of Columbia bar exam. She did not tell even close friends of her failure until revealing it thirty years later in her autobiography. This speaks volumes of her character. (Somehow, being a failure makes you a better democrat.)

She later lowered her expectations passed the Arkansas bar exam and married Bill Clinton.

Later when Bill Clinton was Attorney General of Arkansas she joined the venerable Rose Law Firm, a bastion of Arkansan political and economic influence, in February 1977.

She most likely got that job as a kick-back to her husband to garnish favor for the firm with the State's Attorney General. Most accounts indicate that she was a poor to fair lawyer that rarely performed litigation work in court. She was only made a full partner at the firm after her husband was elected Governor. Bill Clinton's Republican opponent in his 1986 gubernatorial re-election campaign accused the Clintons of conflict of interest, because Rose Law did state business.

Clinton used her ties to the firm and suspected insider information to make a spectacular profit from trading cattle futures contracts; her initial $1,000 investment generated nearly $100,000 when she stopped trading after ten months. Her and her husband also began their ill-fated investment in the Whitewater Development Corporation real estate venture with Jim and Susan McDougal at this time. Jim McDougal would later be convicted of eighteen felony counts of fraud and conspiracy charges when this scandal broke while Bill Clinton was President.

The Clintons borrowed $203,000 to buy land in the Ozark Mountains for vacation homes. When the development failed, Jim McDougal attempted to cover the losses with S&L funds. McDougal was prosecuted for fraud in 1984 and hired the Mrs. Clinton's Rose Law Firm to defend him. Questions remain in regard to Mrs. Clinton's Rose Law Firm billing records on Madison Guaranty and how much work she actually did. McDougal also held a fundraiser that paid off Clinton 's then campaign debt of $50,000. Madison cashier's checks accounted for $12,000 of the funds raised.

McDougal died of a heart attack in federal prison in Fort Worth, Texas. The circumstances of his death remain questionable: he was apparently denied access to his heart medication, and he was placed in solitary confinement without the medication.

As First Lady of Arkansas, Hillary Clinton chaired the Arkansas Educational Standards Committee from 1982 to 1992, where she sought to bring about reform in the state's court-sanctioned public education system. One of the most important initiatives of the entire Clinton governorship, she fought a prolonged but ultimately successful battle against the Arkansas Education Association to put mandatory teacher testing as well as state standards for curriculum and classroom size in place. Once again failure makes you a better democrat.

Hillary's main job as First Lady was to deal with bimbo eruptions, Before the New Hampshire primary in 1992, tabloid publications printed claims that Bill Clinton had had an extramarital affair with Gennifer Flowers, an Arkansas lounge singer. In response, the Clintons appeared together on 60 Minutes, during which Bill Clinton denied the affair but acknowledged he had caused "pain" in their marriage. (Years later, he would admit that the Flowers affair had happened, but to lesser extent than she claimed.) Hillary Clinton made culturally dismissive remarks about Tammy Wynette and baking cookies and having teas during the campaign that were insulting to married women by her own admission.

Most critics called it inappropriate for the First Lady to play a central role in matters of public policy. Supporters pointed out that Clinton 's role in policy was no different from that of other White House advisors and that voters were well aware that she would play an active role in her husband's Presidency. Bill Clinton's campaign promise of "two for the price of one" led opponents to refer derisively to the Clintons as "co-presidents", or sometimes "Billary". The pressures of conflicting ideas about the role of a First Lady were enough to send Clinton into "imaginary discussions" with the also-politically-active Eleanor Roosevelt. (Can you say "nut-job".)

In 1993, the Bill appointed his Hillary to head and be the chairwoman of the Task Force on National Health Care Reform to try to make steps to socialize the American health care system. The plan was quickly derided as "Hillarycare" by its opponents; some protesters against it became vitriolic, and during a July 1994 bus tour to rally support for the plan, she was forced to wear a bulletproof vest at times. The plan did not receive enough support for a floor vote in either the House or the Senate, although both chambers were controlled by Democrats, and proposal was abandoned in September of 1994. Clinton later acknowledged in her book, "Living History", that her political inexperience partly contributed to the defeat. (Inexperience and failure the two best traits of being a democrat?)

Hillary Clinton traveled to over eighty countries during this time, breaking the mark for most-travelled First Lady held by Pat Nixon. (Wasting tax payer money another trait of democrats.)

The Whitewater controversy was the focus of media attention from the publication of a New York Times report during the 1992 presidential campaign, and throughout her time as First Lady. The Clintons had lost their late-1970s investment in the Whitewater Development Corporation; at the same time, their partners in that investment, Jim and Susan McDougal, operated Madison Guaranty, a savings and loan institution that retained the legal services of Rose Law Firm and had been improperly subsidizing Whitewater losses. Madison Guaranty later failed, and Clinton 's work at Rose was scrutinized for a possible conflict of interest in representing the bank before state regulators that her husband had appointed; she claimed she had done minimal work for the bank. Independent counsels Robert Fiske and Kenneth Starr subpoenaed Clinton 's legal billing records; she claimed to be unable to produce these records.

The records were found in the First Lady's White House book room after a two-year search, and delivered to investigators in early 1996. The delayed appearance of the records sparked intense interest and another investigation about how they surfaced and where they had been; Clinton attributed the problem to disorganization that resulted from their move from the Arkansas Governor's Mansion and the effects of a White House renovation. After the discovery of the records, on January 26, 1996, Clinton made history by becoming the first First Lady to be subpoenaed to testify before a Federal grand jury. After several Independent Counsels investigated, a final report was issued in 2000 which stated that there was insufficient evidence that either Clinton had engaged in criminal wrongdoing.

Other investigations took place during Hillary Clinton's time as First Lady. Scrutiny of the May 1993 firings of the White House Travel Office employees, an affair that became known as "Travelgate", began with charges that the White House had used alleged financial improprieties in the Travel Office operation as an excuse to replace the office staff and give the White House travel business to Arkansas friends of theirs. Over the years the investigation focused more on whether Hillary Clinton had orchestrated the firings and whether the statements she made to investigating authorities regarding her role in the firings were true. The 2000 final Independent Counsel report found that there was substantial evidence that she was involved in the firings and that she had made "factually false" statements, but that there was insufficient evidence to prosecute her.

Following deputy White House counsel Vince Foster's July 1993 "suicide", allegations were made that Hillary Clinton had ordered the removal of potentially damaging files (related to Whitewater or other matters) from Foster's office on the night of his death. Independent Counsel Kenneth Starr investigated this, and by 1999 Starr was reported to be holding the investigation open.

In March 1994 newspaper reports revealed her spectacular profits from cattle futures trading in 1978–1979; allegations were made of conflict of interest and disguised bribery, and several individuals analyzed her trading records, but no official investigation was made and she was never charged with any wrongdoing. An outgrowth of the Travelgate investigation was the June 1996 discovery of improper White House access to hundreds of FBI background reports on former Republican White House employees, an affair that some called "Filegate"; accusations were made that Hillary Clinton had requested these files and that she had recommended hiring an unqualified individual to head the White House Security Office.

In 1998, the Clintons ' relationship became the subject of much speculation and gossip when it was revealed that the President had had an extramarital affair with White House intern Monica Lewinsky. Events surrounding the Lewinsky scandal eventually led to the impeachment of Bill Clinton. When the allegations against her husband were first made public, Hillary Clinton stated that they were the result of a "vast right-wing conspiracy", characterizing the Lewinsky charges as the latest in a long, organized, collaborative series of charges by Clinton political enemies, rather than any wrongdoing by her husband. She later said that she had been misled by her husband's initial claims that no affair had taken place. After the evidence of President Clinton's encounters with Lewinsky became incontrovertible and he admitted to her his unfaithful behavior, she still maintained her "vast right-wing conspiracy" theory. (Denial is not a river in Egypt .)

Throughout her 1st Senate campaign and during it's debates, Clinton was accused of carpetbagging by her opponents, as she had never resided in New York nor participated in the state's politics prior to this race. Most people know that she would have never been elected in either her home start, Arkansas or her birth state, of Illinois . The contest drew national attention and both candidates were well-funded. Clinton secured a broad base of support, including endorsements from conservation group sand organized labor, but not the New York City police and firefighters' unions.

On a visit to Iraq in February 2005, Clinton noted that the insurgency had failed to disrupt the democratic elections held earlier, and that parts of the country were functioning well. In late 2005, Clinton said that while immediate withdrawal from Iraq would be a mistake, Bush's pledge to stay "until the job is done" is also misguided. Her centrist and somewhat vague stance caused frustration among those in the Democratic party who favor immediate withdrawal. Later she would change her stance on the Iraq War to shore up support from Democrats during her 2006 Re-election in order to win the Democratic nomination over opposition from anti-war activist Jonathan Tasini. This produced her now infamous sound bite. "I was for the war in Iraq before I was against it." Clinton spent $36 million towards her reelection, more than any other candidate for Senate in the 2006 elections. She was criticized by some Democrats for spending too much in a one-sided contest. (Fiscal reasonability is not a Clinton strong suit.)

Her voting record speaks volumes about her tax and spend mentality and her support for the liberal agenda. Senator Clinton voted against the tax cuts introduced by President Bush, including the Economic Growth and Tax Relief Reconciliation Act of 2001 and the Jobs and Growth Tax Relief Reconciliation Act of 2003. Clinton voted in 2005 against the confirmation of John Roberts as Chief Justice of the United States, and in 2006 against the nomination of Samuel Alito to the United States Supreme Court; both were confirmed. In July 2004 and June 2006, Clinton voted against the Federal Marriage Amendment that sought to prohibit same-sex marriage.

Clinton opposed the Iraq War troop surge of 2007 and supported a February 2007 non-binding Senate resolution against it, which failed to gain cloture. In March 2007 she voted in favor of a war spending bill that required President Bush to begin withdrawing troops from Iraq within a certain deadline; it passed almost completely along party lines but was subsequently vetoed by President Bush. In May 2007 a compromise war funding bill that removed withdrawal deadlines but tied funding to progress benchmarks for the Iraqi government passed the Senate by a vote of 80-14 and would be signed by Bush; Clinton was one of those that voted against it.

Since her announcement that she was seeking the Democratic Party nomination for president, she set records for fundraising. In April 2007, the Clintons liquidated a blind trust that had been established when he became president in 1993, in order to avoid the possibility of ethical conflicts or political embarrassments in the trust as Hillary Clinton undertook her presidential race; later disclosure statements revealed that the couple's worth was now upwards of $50 million. However, ethics in fundraising has never been a Clinton strong suit.

In late August 2007, a major contributor to, and "bundler" for, Clinton's campaign, called a "HillRaiser", Norman Hsu, was revealed to be a 15-years-long fugitive in an investment fraud case. He was also suspected of having broken campaign finance law regarding his bundling collections. The Clinton campaign first said it would donate to charity the $23,000 that Hsu personally contributed to her, then said it would refund to 260 donors the full $850,000 in bundled donations raised by Hsu. Hsu was subsequently indicted on new investment fraud charges.

The Bottom Line?

National Journal's 2004 study of roll-call votes assigned Clinton a rating of 30 in the political spectrum, relative to the then-current Senate, with a rating of 1 being most liberal and 100 being most conservative.

A 2004 analysis by three political scientists found her to be likely the sixth-to-eighth-most liberal Senator.

The Almanac of American Politics, edited by Michael Barone and Richard E. Cohen, rated her votes from 2003 through 2006 as liberal or conservative, with 100 as the highest rating, in three areas: Economic, Social, and Foreign; aggregated for the four years, the ratings are: Ec.. 75 liberal, 23 conservative; Social = 83 liberal, 6 conservative; Foreign = 66 liberal, 30 conservative. Average = 75 liberal, 20 conservative. Various interest groups have given Senator Clinton scores or grades as to how well her votes align with the positions of the group: Through 2006, she has a lifetime 96% "Liberal Quotient" from Americans for Democratic Action. ProgressivePunch gives her a 91.4% lifetime progressive rating, ranking her the 28th most progressive of current senators. Through 2006, she has a lifetime 9% rating from the American Conservative Union. The American Civil Liberties Union has given her a 75% lifetime rating through September 2007. NARAL Pro-Choice America consistently gave her a 100% pro-choice rating from 2002 to 2006. Americans for Better Immigration has given her a lifetime grade of 'D-' (very near failing) through October 2007 on their Immigration-Reduction Report Card. The National Rifle Association gave her an 'F' (failing) rating in 2006 for her stance on Second Amendment issues.

My take?

I have to agree with 50% of America : I would never vote for this woman regardless of who she is running against.

Well, that just about sums it up!
